Mudit K. Yadav, DDS
Dr. Yadav was handpicked by Dr. Stevenson out of hundreds of his residents to be a full-time Clinical Associate at Stevenson Dental Solutions Patient Care after being extensively mentored by him in the broad discipline of Restorative Dentistry for over 7 years. He has been actively involved in teaching alongside Dr. Stevenson where he was awarded Best Tutor because of his calm, personalized, and effective approach. These are the same values he brings to patient care.
He is a graduate of the College of Dental Sciences at Manipal, which is consistently ranked as the best dental school in India. Dr. Yadav has garnered many accolades, the most notable being representing India twice as a table clinician, once at the annual meeting of the American Dental Association in San Francisco and second at the GC Asia South East Asian Association for Dental Education meeting in Thailand. He completed additional training in the rigorous Advanced Clinical Training Program in Restorative Dentistry at UCLA, where he graduated with honors.
Entering private practice, he has worked in a variety of clinical situations. Having had over 10,000 patient visits in a relatively short amount of time has further matured his clinical techniques and expertise. Dr. Yadav has given table clinics and lectures both at domestic and international events. He also serves as the Liaison for the Stevenson Clinical Study Club, an operating study club where clinicians pursue excellence in dentistry, a tradition that goes back to over a century. He is an active member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, Tri-County Dental Association and the Academy of Operative Dentistry.
Dr. Yadav likes to spend his free time with his wife Danielle and dog Aries, exploring what life has to offer. He is a hobbyist photographer and loves to cook Butter Chicken, his wife’s favorite dish!
Hana Hashmi Khan, Associate
Dr. Hana Hashmi Khan brings heartfelt dedication and advanced expertise to her role at Stevenson Dental Solutions. Personally selected by Dr. Richard G. Stevenson III after more than 15 years of mentorship, she plays an essential role in treating airway-centered dental cases within the practice as both dentist and orofacial myologist.
Dr. Khan’s journey into dentistry began in childhood, driven by a love for both the science and artistry of healing. A graduate of the prestigious UCLA School of Dentistry, she was chosen by Dr. Stevenson—then Dean of Restorative Dentistry—to train alongside him at the advanced Venice Clinic. Her commitment to excellence continued through her participation in the Student Richard V. Tucker Gold Study Club, and later, through ongoing education in the Richard G. Stevenson Study Club while in private practice.
Her clinical focus is holistic, whole-body health—with a particular emphasis on airway-centered dentistry, which examines how breathing and oral health are deeply connected. Dr. Khan completed the Mini Airway Residency and incorporates its principles into every aspect of patient care. She further completed orofacial myology training, providing her patients with a structured tailored myofunctional therapy program. She believes that dentistry should be collaborative: patients deserve to be fully informed, active participants in their treatment. With compassion and clarity, she takes time to educate each patient, helping them understand the “why” behind every recommendation.
Outside the office, Dr. Khan is a devoted wife and mother of three. Her life experiences as a parent have deepened her empathy and shaped her belief that when one family member suffers—especially with airway-related issues—it affects the entire household. This perspective fuels her mission: to help families breathe better, sleep better, and live better.

Urva Suryawala, DDS, MSD, Board Certified Pediatric Dentist
Dr. Urva is a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist dedicated to helping children build healthy, confident smiles and positive dental experiences from an early age. Known for her gentle and compassionate approach, she creates a warm environment where every child feels safe, understood, and cared for.
After earning her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry, Dr. Urva completed her residency in Pediatric Dentistry at the same institution, where she proudly served as Chief Resident. Her advanced training and board certification reflect her commitment to excellence and individualized care for every child.
Dr. Urva believes that pediatric dentistry is about more than teeth — it’s about nurturing trust, building confidence, and creating healthy habits that last a lifetime. As a mother herself, Dr. Urva truly understands parents’ concerns about their children’s oral health and habits. She listens with empathy and approaches care from both a professional and parent’s perspective — ensuring families feel heard, informed, and supported every step of the way.
Outside the office, Dr. Urva enjoys spending time with her family, exploring the outdoors with her husband Kashyap and son Ayaan, and volunteering in her community and on mission trips. With her friendly nature and gentle touch, Dr. Urva is devoted to making every child’s dental journey a positive and joyful one — one bright smile at a time.
Cristina D. Lopez, DMD
Cristina D. Lopez, DMD, is a 1991 graduate of the University of the East. After practicing general dentistry in the Philippines, she immigrated to the United States and obtained her dental license. She has held a Lecturer appointment at the UCLA School of Dentistry in Restorative Dentistry since 2007, where she has served in several roles, including assistant to the chair in both the fixed prosthodontics and operative dentistry courses. She has given presentations and table clinics throughout the U.S. and Asia in the areas of cast gold, veneers and dental materials.
She is a member of the Stevenson Clinical Study Club, Academy of Richard V. Tucker Cast Gold Study Club and the American Academy of Gold Foil Operators. She is a highly sought clinician in private practice. Her fellow dentists seeking treatment from her as well as dental students and dental technicians is a testament to her great clinical skills. She has taught with Dr. Stevenson since 2008. She is in the Executive Council of the of the Academy of Operative Dentistry where she also serves on the Rising (Faculty) Star Committee.
